| That seems plenty windy for spraying r/up, however, the local fert dealer sprayed a field next to a corn field of mine in similar wind conditions and so far no damage at all. I wouldn't spray in that much wind, but I've been using turbo teejet air induction nozzles (like the fert dealer) and drift retardant and I'm surprised how few "fines" are in the spray. Hopefully your neighbor was using something similar.
I guess I saying it's possible he did not damage your corn (that would be best), but you should see damage pretty quick in corn if there was drift. Usually you just measure off the area affected (dead or stunted corn), figure your expected yield (a good average year) and talk to your neighbor. His insurance will usually cover the claim with no problem, or if the area is small your neighbor might just pay you cash. It's not good, but it can be worked out.
