Hanford, CA | There are a couple seed dealers that do that out here and continue to do it...so I guess it works for them. You would really need to review your return policy...i.e. no returns on specially treated seed. You should have a system with a very quick (next day) delivery. Inventory is the killer, so you would want to keep returnable black seed (or raw seed) in that state as long as possible. I suggest having one person to organize & maintain inventory and keep a close eye on it. Probably want to have this as a custom application or custom service and not tied to a 'dealer' organization because returns would be inevitable. Some of my thoughts. | |
