offline XTE and Offline distance differ by the lookahead seconds setting. the EZ-Steer assumes (and operates) with a zero second lookahead. if you use manual guidance you might wish to steer by the lights but wish to know how far your antenna really is off line so the actual off line distance is given both with and without lookahead factored into the reading.

I don't remember which is which, but you can tell by putting in a big number of seconds, like 5 or more for the lookahead and see that one of the terms goes wild as you drive a "straight" line, while the other with a lookahead of 0 seconds, is realtively stable. If you put in 0 seconds lookahead you should get the same number for both.
