It is an asymmetric arm lift - manufactured to be that way...
150% of advertised is the required rating...
Yeah they loaded as far off as they could - so do schmucks who want to lift their stake rack truck with a bunch of junk in the bed to change a flat tire...
But the asymmetric loading does not answer the posts deflecting excessively at 10K...
It is clear that unit is not safe at 10K...
If they were that "wrong" the importer of that lift would have sued them for defamation before now...
They made a point with me and this winter when we build the new shop he is gonna get some business...
