Subject: Cost per head a little high on the last method. (:

If the insurance companies would tell the public what the extra charge was for deer damage we would soon be down to a more manageable population of long legged rats.

Take it from a guy who has dropped over a 100 per year in his life. You can't control them that way. Each one you kill will be replaced by two more. I have not shot one in 15 years and the crop damage has not increased. Wasted a lot of time and money thinking I could get rid of them.

Find some hunting club or group that will respect your property and is willing to pay to have "fun". Put a kill min. on them. Does before bucks makes them work a little harder. Each must kill a doe (inspected by you) before they can kill a buck. First day of season sounds like a firing range as they quickly fill the doe requirement.
