| We did that years ago when we baled for an uncle who sold all his hay at a by-the-bale auction. He was getting older and wanted to handle smaller bales but worried about them selling poorly; turned out that a bale's abale to the bidders at these small auctions and he made out very well; he got the same price per bale as the standard sized bales! Go for it, especially if you go to an auction, dollars per bale seems to mean more than pounds per bale. | |
