I'm not saying I don't have wrecks. The point of these posts was to support a guy who was getting crucified, not to become that guy and certainly not to toot my own horn. Lots of guys around here could have/ would have taken over the farm I got and done well with it. Someone else did get the rest of the acreage that guy rented (a good acreage, he was not a small operator) and they appear to be doing very well with it.

I'll farm my own side of the fence, but be sure I'll be looking around to see if there's something I could do better. There is plenty to learn from observation of both what to do and what not to do.
