Subject: Kernel Guard

Embarrass WI
You might have used Kernel Guard a few years ago, and it probably worked. It is no longer available in the effective formulation(which includes Lindane). They have something labeled kernel guard, but it is a new formula, which is ineffective at repelling birds.
The major avian pest "here" is sandhill cranes. They can really wreak havoc on untreated corn.
I was able to score a supply of the old formulation. If I use it carefully, I can probably stretch my supply for three years. I don't know what I'll do after that.
