| We must grow it bigger in Wisconsin because if I take a bushel basket and fill it with ears of sweet corn it is between 36 and 40 ears.
My mother always wanted a bushel of corn to freeze and it turned out to be 3 dozen she wanted for the recipe she used.

North of London | We would get more here in Canada since we used the Imperial bushel.
I assume you are talking of the US bushel.
Does it matter?
Sweet corn is sold by the ear or dozen ears around here.
There are certainly difference in size of ears of corn too.
