Sound to me like srome is using sf2 only on the strip rig, and manual steering the planters? That will work just fine. We did it this year on alot of our corn acres with an Outback on the strip rig, partly using a demo Baseline with the Outback (single freq rtk). Planted with manual steer on the strips, and found it easy to manually stay on the strips. WAAS auto-steer on the planter would not follow the strips at all. In my opinion, if you want to auto-steer both the stripper and the planter, you will need rtk. I plant alot of non-strip-til corn with WAAS auto-steer (EZguide) and get along just fine, but WAAS is strictly a one-pass tool...it will not follow itself or any other rig from a previous trip.
