How about a Curtiss-Wright R-3350 turbo-compound engine on high power test stand. They can send chills down your back. Hearing the mechs high power an old Navy P2 Neptune with those 18 cylinder engines changed my mind about re-enlisting in the Navy once. However, maintaining those grease slinging radial engines is a PITA.
