Subject: John Deere Grain Drill capacity

Can anyone tell me how many bushels a 20' John Deere 1560 and a 20' John Deere 750 no-till drill hold? I've been getting different answers.

I believe it depends on wether it has fertilizer in the box or not.

I think my 750 holds 2 bu per foot. I do have fertilizer.

A 1560 ad 1590 is Plain grain 3.5 bu/ft the combo box is 1.4 or 2 bu ft with the fertilizer portion 113 or 162 lb/ ft for a total of 3.4 bu ft.

the 750 plain grain is 2.8 bu/ ft combo box is 1.4 or 2 bu a foot and the fertilizer is 113 or 162 lb ft with a total of 3.4 bu/ft

I think our 20' 1560 holds around 70 bushels of soybeans if i remember correctly.
