Goff Kansas | i am no expert here, so pounce this reply if needed, but as far as the sub prime situation goes, i think it is nill. they simply needed money to cover margin in the dow, and grains were the obvious place to get it. after the fed did its thing that day, as far as i was concerned, the major moves in the commodities due to sub prime, was done with. Acreage battle. i think it has been here for about a month, secretly holding corn from going down, and forcing us to pay attention to the bean and wheat numbers. we gotta plant a lot of both next yr. been saying for a while the corn low is in. these end users are starting to buy this stuff up in anticipation of 4+ corn again. as far as the inflation thing. way out of my realm, but haven't they been saying that for awhile now?? yet we just keep on plugging along. it could come to pass, but just not an immanent threat as some may believe. | |
