I do have a Garmin 16A receiver apparently working with the latest version ( 1.9.11.33 ) on a GS 2600 display.
The problem is, I can't tell exactly how I got it to work. The screen page that made it work seems to have
disappeared after it started working. It was something about setting the serial ports and when I clicked on
port 1, it immediately recognized the receiver and began working.
I did have it working before the software update, at least last fall. I am still concerned that the Garmin is not
using the new WASS satellites, but the 2600 says it has 3D Diff??
To bad Deere can't provide a little help. Nothing at all in the new manual and their method of hoookup is
pretty ridiculous.
I just got a higher speed internet connection and wireless network going here so maybe I can be a little more
available when I feel like I might have a worthwhile comment.
But usually feel others on this site have much more experience than I have.
But this site is certainly a valuable asset for me. Thanks to all.
Now I may make some comments and ask some questions about Apex.
