We had a 7580 that we had replaced the 426 with a 505 cummins, engine removal isnt much of a task at all. Just make sure you have it strapped on good to your lifting device. We used a forklift and it worked perfect. I would get some some service manuals and check with you local mechanic about going on into the rest. You can do it, just get some service advise before you start.
