Little River, TX | Using the 6-10 & 8-14 day foracast applied to our local average rain probability so far has worked, fairly well.
What twists my curiosity is the difference in maturity from one end of the field to the other.
Thought for a while I should have planted one of those WET alfalfa varieties, but so far the field looks good. Plan to plant an ABI variety in their Traffic Tested line in the field right next to this one.
With all the flooding I probably will have a ton of weeds sprout this winter.
