Hay Wilson in TX

Subject: Should be some interesting hay

Little River, TX
It was 60 days between cutting. There were 4 over the top of the crop floods in that period.
What is interesting is the up stream end the alfalfa was in early seed as you might expect. In the middle it was roughly 50% bloom. The down stream end was mostly late bud stage.
This hay may be more interesting than I would like. Could not get low with the cutter to get all the down stems. Had to run the cutter bar high to keep it from mudding up.

Clouds are scattered to broken overcast, the soil is damp. the humidity is high, and not much wind. For a few more weeks our climate will be that of the Humid East.
