Subject: Anhydrous break away coupler

Central Nebraska
We are changing our break away coupler on the NH3 rig. Our dealer gave us a Squibb Taylor Flo-Max II coupler. This morning we were figuring out how it exactly works so we attached a hose and coupled it together and tried to pull it apart. Had 3 people on the hose trying to pull it apart and couldn't get it to come apart. On our old Pioneer coupler I can pull it apart without any difficulty. Does anyone have one that pulls apart easy or has had a situation where the coupler came apart as it was supposed to? I'm afraid that if the coupler would have to come apart, it will ruin the hose before the coupler comes apart.

Thanks

Mike
