Leesburg, Ohio | tj: The rains seemed to stay on the NW side of 71 all summer...we're about 15 mi. east of Ed, and watched everytime as the rain would come thru Cincy heading our way, and either fade away to nothing, or move to the North. Even so, just talked to our next door neighbor yesterday as he was in his combine shelling his first field, and seeing 150 bu @ 20% on the monitor...not bad at all considering our lack of rain. We are about a week away from starting corn...still alot of green spots in otherwise dead fields. | |
