Subject: EZ-Steer foot pedal

On an earlier thread alange wrote "on the EZ-Steer controller is a third connector that is "open." It is a DB-25F connector. It is pin 10 and 11 of that connector that is used to run the seat switch or remote engage for EZ-Steer. On the cable you have, I'm guessing, the part number is 52033, the hammer head with GPS/NMEA output and keypad input and a three pin connector. on the cable 52033 the external switch inputs are white and black. the red wire is the simulated radar out connection. This switch input is normally used for coverage logging.

there is available a seat/engage switch accessory kit, Trimble part number 53066-00, which has cable 53067 that is used to connect the remote engage switch to the EZ-Steer controller. This 53067 cable connects to pin 10 and 11."

I currently have a foot pedal with cable to attach to EZ-Steer. Do I need cable 53067 or 53066-00? I am not concerned with the seat switch.

Thank you.
