| I want to connect a 4" tile to a 10" plastic culvert. Where I would connect is about 1.5' underground. Do I need to use a proper tee or could I use my sawzall and cut a hole in the side of the 10", just big enough to connect the 4"? I really don't want to dig up enough of the culvert to put in a tee. The 10" culvert carries very little water currently as the mouth is too high. We had a 2" rain last night and the culvert had only a trickle entering the inlet.
