Sorry, I didn't answer your original question in my last post. We have been extensively testing RTK on the EZ-steer. We have seen a big variation in results depending on the model, brand and age of the machine. Overall, it should be good enough for strip till if your machine responds well to the friction motor and there isn't too much 'dead band' or play in the steering system. Results will vary slightly with the brand of RTK (we used our own brand, Leica) but it shouldn't make much difference in terms of accuracy.

FYI, we have also lab tested the EZ-steer motor against the Deere Universal motor and found the EZ-steer to be superior in response. Both won't give you consistent sub-inch performance, but more likely 2-4" depending on your setup.

The good news is you will no longer have drift problems across the field or between operations! Try it, as it may just be good enough if your expectations aren't too high, and it will solve other problems associated with lower accuracy systems.
