Lapel, In
At least they are alive.Seveal in the area have developed a cough, got diarhea and died 3 days later, including 2 of my grandkids' pigs.Vet thinks it is Bloody Dysentery.I am not so sure.Had some feeder pig break with it about 30 years ago.Scours are not like I remember.Hitting them with Tylan 200 2x.Not seeming to be helping.Put Linco(for chickens) in water today.Wish I could remenber the product we used years ago.It was a med for blackleg in turkeys.Made in France,I think, but it worked wonders almost immediately.
Grampa has taken a pretty big financial hit lately.Don't want to lose the last two. Tried adding some rolled oats before they quit eating. The vet lost two of his own.Nothing showed in his post work including no worms. At first I thought whip worms since everyone uses Ivomec and that doesn't get whipworms.Atgard does, so I used some of it.Didn't help.
A word to the wise.watch your pigs closely.
