Have you filled your contract? It makes a difference if you have one contract for say 20,000 bushels or four contracts of 5000 bushels. If the latter and you have filled one or two contracts, they are obligated to make a cash settlement. On the other hand if it is a single large contract and you have only filled a portion of it you are not entitled to a cash settlement until the contract is filled.
