Brazilton KS | "No spot beans until contracts are filled" does not sound reasonable to me. If you try that one on me you will accomplish one thing...send all my spot sales to some competitor. I'm not going to let basis and price deteriorate into harvest while I fill your contracts instead of moving my remaining 'leftover' crop. If I am going to have spot grain to sell, it is usually going to be the very first bushels I deliver because our prices nearly always deteriorate as harvest goes on.
