Joh, open the control panel, and paste your mapdot link into the "set mapdot URL" box, then submit.

That way, your mapdot will appear in the side box, and shorten the length of all your posts.  If everyone did that, space would be saved.

Also, you can write in your location in the location box, and it will appear under your mapdot.

I'm not trying to tell you what to do, just offering some suggestions to help you get started.  Some interesting changes in this forum make it a lot more powerful than the old one.
