McLeod County Minnesota
Sorry I can’t be of much help but since you aren’t getting any replies I will mention how we handled liquid fertilizer. We applied it in the seed trench with seed. Lots of “experts” said it would burn seed but the guys who know at the U of M said it wouldn’t hurt seed if we didn’t apply too much. We applied it in the seed trench for 10 years when we bought a new planter and switched over to broadcast. Today, there isn’t anyone in this area who still applies starter, pop-up, or whatever you call it in your area. It’s been 12 years since we applied fertilizer with the planter so I don’t remember rates. Best wishes!
