Subject: Another thought on bunching female Bovines

Hutchinson, MN
The bunching is caused by stress, the fly issue is one of the big two, and the other thread covered that. As was stated heat is the other big one. I have had vvvvvvveeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrryyyyyyy good results with the hydration products most feed companies now seem to have. I feed it at half rate all summer and bump it up to full rate when the heat hits. I know someone's going to say that it is expensive, but it's worth it to me, to not have to over come the summer slump come fall. Everything goes better when the mama's are happy, they also aren't so blasted dirty when they go to be milked. Kinda like Gatorade for cows. Del
