The tractor should run from 180 to 195 on engine temp. The radiator design is called a folded core. The advice to clean it is right on get as many covers off as you can and use the blow gun on it. The folded core with close fins cools very well when clean. If this doesn't help use a heat gun to see what the engine temp. really is this will tell you if the rad. is plugged internally, you will see different temps as you shoot different parts of the rad. The temp drop from top tank to bottom should be around 15 degrees. Each core can be replaced individually they each have a neck that goes into the tanks and is sealed with a rubber seal. There is a remote chance that it is the water pump. They sometimes erode the impeller to the point that they can't move enough water to keep the engine cool. The thermostat is also a possibility it could be sticking and not forcing the water through the rad. but letting some circulate through the engine. Good luck UB.
