West Central Iowa | I am looking for opinions on Callisto post emergence application. As I understand 3 oz, Callisto per acre plus 1% solution of crop oil, plus 2.5% nitrogen solution. We have always used Request liquid to replace the nitrogen when spraying glyphosate and was wondering if anyone has used a liquid ams replacement when spraying Callisto. I like to avoid dry ams if at all possible and Request has always worked well for us on the glyphosate. There is a lot of Callisto sprayed around here and the seed growers use it quite a bit so I think it is fairly safe. I have used Hornet in the past few years but may need to deal with a little water hemp so want to go with the Callisto. I would like to keep the 12 gallon per acre of spray solution as that works out pretty well with our setup. All opionions would be appreciated. | |
