Subject: Ez-Guide 500 and Ez-Steer

South Australia
Encountered some problems yesterday whilst setting up a ez-guide 500 and ez-steer
The first problem i had was everytime you engaged the ez-steer it would come up with ez-steer bridge fault straight away and tell me increase the overide sensitivity. Doing this had no effect (it wasn't even tring to turn the wheel).

I decided to try running the ez-steer off a battery back, this gave me even weirder result. The screen showed the sprayer doing 360's whilst i drove in a straight line. The Yaw was very high and the filtered heading was going round and round also.

After this i cut the plug off and wired it directly to the vehicles battery although it kept doing 360's.

I had the ez-steer controller solidly mounted with the plugs facing the floor (and correctly calibrated).

I then unmounted the controller and placed it with the plugs facing forward and recalibrated. I was still getting 360's. More restarts then suddenly no 360's, although i have had 1 lower bridge fault.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
