NE SD | We've used it for years. I have a hard time seeing no-till working without it. If we were to go to strip till, we may go without it, partially to speed up the planting process, and partly to lighten up the planting tractor........at least keep it under 50,000 lbs. Several years in a row we ran test strips. Using starter consistantly showed a 5-7 bu. advantage in our soils.......some years that is a good advantage. Years when it's wet like this it hardly seems worth messing with because we have enough hassles the way it is. | |
