I have a hay coring device I bought from Nasco that is made to go on a hand powered drill ("brace"). I use it on a cordless drill, but it pulls hard, can't get too many cores out of a battery.
The thing has a proper name, but I can't think of it just now. Around here, everybody that samples hay has one.
How do you guys get your hay samples?
