North Mo.
Like I have said many times avoid steel post if they knock the wire down at least it will not short out. Make sure the wire is real warm and don't put a bunch of starving cows at the feeder at one time. I have a hot wire over a water tank so only so many can drink at a time maybe 6 cows its 500 gal round. This keeps the cows away from the float and tearing up stuff. It helps to have cattle that are used to a hot wire but they will learn soon anyway. I know I am a devil but sometimes I purposely move the wire to touch a cow or two just to remind them of its power. Love to do that to bulls.
