Southeast MN | Ross, was wondering when you would dry out enough to go. It's a good feeling to be get the seed in the ground, I finished Saturday. Used to be May 20 was a good time to start corn, now everyone is "late" if the beans aren't in by the 10th.
I bet you like those slide-on seed hopper lids better than the old style ones. Your old machine ran well, only trouble was one drive chain (probably has a very low germination rate) and a lift cylinder pin fell out, lucky nothing was damaged when I raised it in "side hill" mode. Pulls easy too, 40 gallons fuel to do 100 acres. | |
