South Georgia
Dutch, I've never had any problems with 2,4D. At the end of the day, if I've been spraying it, I flush my booms with clean water, and when I'm through with the 2,4D, I use Nutra-sol tank cleaner (not an advertisement, it's just what we use), and leave that in the lines until next time I spray. I think the most important part is to not let it soak into the lines overnight.

If you don't believe chemicals can soak in, you need to spray some Prowl. Last fall, I put a new sight guage on my sprayer, and within a week it was Prowl yellow, even though no Prowl had been in the tank since the last week of May.
