They are a Mom & Pop operation and real nice to talk to. I use their cutting tip for the Penn State Probe.

The key to hay sampling is a good representative sample. A wash tub full of hay is not required, a reasonable sample is what you want. On freshly baled hay I only sample 2" or 3" deep. For my needs a sandwich bag of hay sent by US mail at $0.97 postage works.

Just do not fall in love with the numbers you get back. You can have 3 different people sample a stack on three different days and the results will vary widely. Get NVDave to expand on that theme.
