Maybe I don't understand you or visa-versa.

I think anyone using anyone's RTK signal could/should pay for it...unless someone wants to give it freely. If you can use a neighbors, you could pay him for it on a "seasonal" basis. Our RTK xmitter sits atop an elevator leg & has good range. It's available for anyone at annual subscription price. But, it doesn't do any of the JD guys any good because it's Trimble format. However, if the JD guys could utilize the signal, they could pay the RTK owner just like we do. Right now he has the high ground & it doesn't do JD guys one bit of good. I think the financial incentive is the increased customer base.

JD is having a somewhat harder time getting RTK going here (or so it seems to me, could be wrong) because of the lack of community transmitters. However, if they put one on every elevator leg (probably 5 mis apart) it still wouldn't do Trimble guys any good. Both companies could sell RTK receivers (more expensive than WAAS/SP1-2) if xmitters were accessible.

As far as the pitch-roll-yaw thing, I know nothing about that.
