We have wheat that cows are on now cleaning up fence lines, I think I will plant annual rye in it might put a few turnips with it. Last year we had a hard frezze with ice in the fall and our turnips went bye bye.
If you are in wheat only country ceral rye can get into a field of wheat quite easily. But it is real good pasture
