Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | One of my Coworkers is using an EZ-Guide as the GPS source for a PF Advantage. He noticed that a "flyer" (incorrect GPS point) is often created when an "A" or "B" pont is marked. The rest of the time, the GPS that the PF Advantage is receiving seems to be correct. This has been in a tractor using the PF for logging planting operations.
I believe others have experienced this same problem. I have been told that this is not unusual.
Could this possibly be related to your situation? Your settings seem to be correct.
However, you indicate that this combo worked in the past. This leads me to speculate that possibly the elevator speed is being dropped for some reason. If the elevator speed indicates zero, the system will switch from instant to average readings.
Possibly the elevator speed sensor is sensitive to the power drop experienced when EZ-Steer is engaged. We have seen occasional strange problems with elevator speed sensors on certain combines.
