northwest tennessee | It has prolly been 10 years since I had any pinkeye. I vacc. cows and vacc. calves at birth with Alpha 7 when I tag and castrate. I know they say they dont build any immunity at that age but I believe I am getting some. They also dont have access to ponds. They drink from a well and are forced to use a cattle rub to get to the water. I use rubs I make from burlap sacks on chains. They hang down and do a better job than a round type. I also use aureomycin in the mineral. This works for me. | |
