Let me throw out some thoughts and see what you think about forward contracting '08 corn & beans at these prices.

The final '07 production could come in below expectations with negative ending stocks.

Additional ethanol plants coming on line will require an additional 10 million acres of corn to feed the beast.  Where will they come from?

The big money is on changes to the '07 farm bill that will move direct payments away from corn & beans into an incentive to grow switchgrass.  The incentives could be as much as $270/acre.  How many acres of corn & beans will switch to switchgrass?

The meat & egg industry is working hard to limit the amount of corn based ethanol production.  Will they be successful?

Inputs cost (including rent) will raise by 50%.  Do you lock in input costs when you lock in market price?
