Now wait a minute Ed, you just said last night in the thread below you started selling '08, let alone selling '07. That seems like a WAY forward contract. LOL

Thanks for the tip though, since I've already got 1/3 of '07 beans sold for 7.50 - 8.00+.

Guess if it looks like they'll make a half a crop I'll sell a little more.

Got burned not having enough sold early 2 years ago when the hurricane shut the port down, no barge traffic, ridiculous basis, elevator closed to uncontracted grain because of no storage available, yada yada yada.

At least even 7.50 is more than 2.30 better than 2 years ago.

Sure watching close on my remaining "Vegas" bushels of '06 corn. Maybe I guessed right on holding some for July.

Pretty sure I'm wrong on most of these marketing moves given past performance!!!!!
