Alberta | Hi Glen,
I can't say for sure if you were on SF1 or SF2 but I do know that when I use SF1 I have the same problems as you with drift on long fields. It was not a problem until we went to autosteer and then I would notice it in the seeder. On the sprayer there is enough give and take but going slower in the seeder the drift happens. I switched to SF2 this year and it seemed to help. Still had a few issues with the autosteer but I don't know if that was signal or the steering unit. I have the older globes, not the ITC, but I have some neighbors who bought a JD autosteer for their tractor and got the ITC receiver, they wern't that happy with SF1 and when they went to upgrade to SF2 they also were looking at a receiver update so that it could use SF2. Kinda goofy on JD's part, make the unit cheaper but less effective and then you have to upgrade to get performance.
