If you have a few bucks, and want to keep most of it high and dry ..
i.e. money market or something along that line,
and want to trade say 10 % of that in a brokerage account. ..
then look at Vanguard.

Yes, you'll pay a little more on a per share basis for trading .. but ..
you'll have the other side working, and no inactivity fees .. no minimum trades .. or other restrictions.
plus you could move $$ around in the Vanguard family of funds, and they are the low cost provider in the fund world.

Sounds like I work there .. I don't ..
but I do have several accounts with them, including a brokerage account.
