Subject: RE: Tetanus problems??

Nother problem I just heard of today,,,causes pretty sudden paraylisis I guess,,,both in cattle AND dogs--ticks!!! And there are MORE of them every year, most everywhere.

I have banded several years in a row and never had a problem with tetnus . I have some NOW, guess I will change plans. They have had 'some' corn all winter and I thought banding woud be the best this year,,,maybe not.

Whats the best method of cutting??? I had a guy tell me to take out all tissue, including the whole inside sac,,,because that causes alot more swelling,,is that right?? How would you know for sure??
