I think it would be very hard to keep feeding enough with that many cows, worse if you add another bunker. I know some guys that do it that way. It does't cost that much to rent a bagger and fill a bag of haylage and/or a bag of corn silage to see what you think of it. I usually have a dairy neighbor fill a bag of corn silage for my beef cows every year. Cost of a 9X135 with bag was about $600 plus chopping expense. Hard packed ground with drainage works ok, gravel might be better unless you're running it thru a TMR, cement would be great but expensive. One other neighbor fills bags with haylage, barley silage, corn silage, and high moisture ground ear corn silage. He owns his own bagger so its easier to do different crops that way.
