My father always had a picture of him when we was real young on a JD D with his Dad. My dad was too young to remember the D and a few years ago him and a neighbor were talking about old tractors and the D. The neighbor said he had an old D in one of the barns and was there for years. One of his uncles used it years ago and then it sat. Now there was no way knowing if it was the same "D" in the picture. maybee it is maybee not, but the neighbor felt it would mean more to my dad than to him so he gave it to him.
Is that a cool neighbor or what! | |
