We did a trial field this year spraying Treflan on soybeans as a preplant and then will follow with Roundup post later on. We did it mainly to get a handle on wolly cup grass (early).
The field looks excellent while all of our other soybean fields are full of grass and weeds (but won't be spraying any time soon as we still have corn to spray and haven't had many non-windy or rainy days).
I am contemplating spraying Treflan on lots of soybean acres next year, but remember a "rumor" about a yield hit in the next year corn. We haven't sprayed any Treflan for about 10 years, prior to having any sort of yield monitor.
Do any of you have any kind of comparison checks for corn the year following soybeans with Treflan? Please share any insights/info if you have.
