We tried AC-Greenfix a couple of times. We did get a N credit, don't remember now what it was. Wasn't a real fast growing plant in my experiance, didn't get a lot of cover. And as Mike said, pretty pricey, although in my case it was the freight that made it too pricey.

I think Austrian Winter peas are one of the many legumes that may work for you, but they need to go in pretty quickly after small grain harvest. And innoculant is needed.

Also, contact Dr Dale Mutch at the KBS Biological Center near Kalamazoo. Your extension agent will have the contact info. He's been working on some new covers, may have some great suggestions.
